CALIFORNIA LOVE

faaaaaast grind band signed to youth attack! records. one of the best record labels ever, so much quality stuff on that. their catalog includes bands such as cult ritual, aerosols and charles bronson. california love should be a household name.

DYSTOPIA

crusty sludge and one of my favourite bands of all time. granted i haven't listened to them in a couple of months. oh well, they're still good. dystopia are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

dystopia
human = garbage
the aftermath...
split with skaven

it includes the skaven side too which is great.

EXTORTION ALMOST DISCOGRAPHY

thrashy hardcore from perth. blows away MOST modern hardcore bands i've heard. sick is a hardcore masterpiece.

i'm missing a couple of splits. i won't upload them

terminal cancer
sick
extortion
control
degenerate

trash talk sucks.

COKE BUST

fast straight edge hardcore. one of the best bands in the current scene in my humble opinion, though that doesn't mean much. still waiting to get a hold of the new weekend nachos. don't worry it's coming.

demo
cycle of violence
fuck bar culture

fuck bar culture also has pretty sick album art.

KILLTHATCAT rules

since i'm waiting for someone to rip me a copy of the new weekend nachos so i can put it up here for everyone i'm going to bombard you with videos you've already seen.

NEW WEEKEND NACHOS SOON GUYS

I can't wait. just in case people don't know about the most popular hardcore band going around today here's a couple of tasty albums that I salvaged from my old blog.

Torture
Punish and Destroy
It's A Wonderful Life

It's a Wonderful Life is my favourite out of the 3. the quality of the recordings are pretty bad but it's just so goddamn good.

I think the new records were being sold at MDF? if anyone has a copy hook me up and I'll post it up on here.

HYPED UP.

MILES DAVIS - birth of the cool

Birth of the Cool is a masterpiece. Miles Davis has to be one of the most talented musicians to ever live, there is no doubt about it. this record is mind numbingly awesome. a must for any genre hopping hipster, or just anyone who listens to good music.

Birth of the Cool

UPDATES

I'm lazy and I admit it.

anyway seems this blog is getting popular, checked the downloads just about 3 minutes ago and people seem to be loving swans and sonic youth. Steve Albini's work seems to be getting some love too.

since the last post I recruited a new guy whose taste kicks ass. don't believe me, see for yourself. I promise this blog will be more active. got a new last.fm account too by the way, add me there if you want.

anyway, since I haven't posted anything in like 3 weeks I figured now would be the best time to post some scrumptious albums for you all.

Brian Eno - Before and After Science
Brian Eno - Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)
Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets

the man has accomplished so much in his time. I think he has released something like 41 studio albums? I've got no idea. Here Come the Warm Jets was his first solo album he released and is 20 years ahead of its time. I don't like it as much as Another Green World but there isn't much that I like more than Another Green World.

I do love Eno, that being said though I think his 80s album are garbage, and his look was a bit, erh, flamboyant I guess you could say. Download the albums now.

Frank Zappa - Apostrophe (')

my favourite Zappa album. if you haven't heard this you are missing out.

Man Is the Bastard - Thoughtless...
Man Is the Bastard - Mancruel

that is all. next up from me Miles Davis as recommended.

BONE AWL

Well, besides Meaningless Leaning Mess.

Undying Glare
Night is Indifferent
At the Ellipse's Arc
By Ropes Through Dirt

FRANK ZAPPA - hot rats

Frank Zappa's legendary album. Pretty much some of the greatest stuff ever.

Hot Rats

THE ENDLESS BLACKADE - primitive

Pissed off powerviolence with heavy riffs.

Primitive

THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE - come friendly bombs

POWERVIOLENCE AND SLUDGEY RIFFS ARE COOL, BRO.

Come Friendly Bombs

SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE - dust & chimes

3rd studio album of my favourite band. Pitchfork probably gave it a 9 or something I don't know. Goddamn hipsters. WOAH WATCH OUT AVERAGE QUALITY.

Dust & Chimes

MAN IS THE BASTARD - D.I.Y.C.D.

A lot of tracks, but a lot of greatness from powerviolence giants Man Is the Bastard.

D.I.Y.C.D.

BONE AWL - meaningless leaning mess

Black metal for skinny hardcore kids, but I like it.

Meaningless Leaning Mess [225 - 227 kbps]

SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE - dark noontide

No FLAC here. Sorry hipsters. I love this album so much, but the BIT RATE SUCKS. I've got a couple more Six Organs albums but I'll post them later.

Pitchfork gave it an 8.2 by the way.

FUCK YEAH.

Dark Noontide

THE GOSLINGS

sludgey drone.

spaceheater
perfect interior
full hunter's moon

FOETUS - nail

So Mr. Thirlwell has produced some great albums but this is by far his best.
